Quiet

Wowsas, no racing this weekend. There was a WORS race, but I needed the rest. My brother went and said it was the course had one small section of singletrack and mowed doubletrack the rest of the 15 minute lap. He rode w/ Chris P the whole time and said that was cool.

There is a video on Erics blog http://ericoftedahl.blogspot.com/ of me climbing Suicide hill in the TT last weekend. Eric said I was the only one of the experts who just sat and pedaled up it.

Tego got his 6-7 month pics taken this weekend. We are fortunate enough to have a neighbor that does professional photography, so he just came over and took the shots. They turned out really well!

In other news, my second road-style race of the season, Chequamegon, is this weekend. No expectations from me...I go for the festival atmosphere. The actual race? It will be fast for sure.

I watched that. You are a animal. No wonder your calves are like cantelopes. I have bike up that hill maybe 1000 times the past 17 years and have never sat down the entire time. Good luck this weekend. See you there.

Aren’t you just a little to cool for bike racing, maybe golf would be a better fit. I know maybe you should bring back the boy-bands that would fit to a tee.

What Mark said only with a "too." I'd hate to insult you when you're not having a good season.

My apologies for the earlier rip; I just hate to hear people ripping on any bike races. This ripping on Wisconsin racing is a big them over here in MN elite class, but all racing enhances the sport. WORS is the largest series and promotes mountain biking to none elites better then any other series. If it wasn’t for citizen/sport, and slow people like me there would be no races, or public trail for that matter. I support all bike racing, as soon as I am seeing spots every trail become technical.

I think you should rethink posting negative comments regarding WORS events or Chequamagon. When you or your brother wear a Velo Rochester jersey you are representing a Rochester bike shop, so consider being polite.

He would have said the same thing if it was here in MN. The race being in WI has nothing to do with it. Heck the guy graduated from UofW. Nobody is forcing him to do the race, he is paying the full entry fee and driving the 3+hr drive to do the race away from his family, and showing his support for cycling. Who cares if he's giving his personal opinion about the terrain and how its not his style. Like he said, its about the competition and the atmosphere that brings him. Thats really what its all about, right? Way to hang tough out there Brendan and not give up.

Guys,
Eric, is dead on...We have a pretty lame course for our first one of the year hear in MNSCS, and we all complain about that one to=) I didn't say anything negative about the rest of the WORS series, and I have heard good things about MANY of them. I just noted that I really like the MNSCS courses! Sorry if anyone was offended...I can see how my wording could be taken wrong.

Cheq, no it isn't my favorite course, but like I said in my most recent post...the spectacle is the BEST out there!! That will keep me coming back.

BTW, I will update my post. Again, sorry to offend anyone.
